When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.. right? In my case, I had the chance to do a photoshoot with a private jet, so I gave a couple a private jet engagement session.
If I’m being completely honest, I was feeling burned out when I decided to do this. I wanted to do something different. Luckily, I had just the right idea. As some of you may know, I am a huge aviation geek. I’m actually working towards becoming a pilot myself. No, not for Delta.. just for personal fun!
I called a friend that flies a jet for a company, and everyone agreed to allow us to use the jet for a session! I was ECSTATIC! Now, I just needed models. I called up Mallory and Judd because I knew they would fit perfectly for this session. I had already done their engagement session at this point, but they just fit the bill and were so happy to do this! Their wedding in November 2022 will be the third time I’ve photographed them since they booked me, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Something about this private jet engagement session just had a nostalgia vibe to it. It was modern, but also vintage. Fun, but also romantic. It passed EVERY vibe check.
If you’re a photographer reading this, I highly recommend getting out there and doing photoshoots that are for YOU! Don’t get me wrong, please! I LOVE every single session/wedding I have with every single client. I’ve literally drooled over every single one. But, in the creative world you have to keep the juices flowing. It might sound ditsy, but this session gave me so much inspiration and clarity.
In the end, this was a great experience. Not only for me, but for Mallory and Judd too! They may have even liked these images better than their first engagement session! (I mean, how could you not) ITS A JET.

I just can’t get over these images and I hope you find them just as amazing! If you are engaged and looking for a wedding photographer, I would love to connect with you! Let’s create something amazing together! Contact me here!
