I'M JAKE BARRENTINE,
and I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!

My photography focuses on timeless, romantic, and joyful images full of beautiful light and genuine connection. 
I made the leap of faith and quit my full-time job as a paramedic to dedicate all of my time to being a Huntsville Wedding Photographer.

I spend my free time traveling, running, and venturing beyond the boundaries of normality.
With so many of us out there, I know that choosing a photographer can be a tough decision. I truly value getting to know each and every one of my clients and take so much joy in providing images that can be treasured for a lifetime. 
I enjoy weddings and couples filled with joy, adventure, and curiosity.

While primarily Huntsville, Alabama and Nashville, TN, I am available to travel wherever your heart is pulling you. On the books so far for
2023 Destination Weddings are Louisville, KY and Delaplane, VA.

I also specialize in cinematic wedding films. If you would like me to provide both, I have an incredible team that will help me make all this magic happen.



 
 

A little about me

Traveling is something I absolutely love to do. There's just something about going somewhere you've only ever seen online or in movies. 

The first time I went to NYC, it was honestly magical. 

Montana, London, and Paris are all stunning. 

Next on the bucket list: Italy!

I am a sucker for a good cocktail, a nice wine, and a bubbly champagne. 

White Wine > Red Wine

Tequila > Whiskey

Moscato > Pinot Grigio

The nerdy side of me is obsessed with anything that flies. Planes, helicopters, rockets, I love it all. 
That led me to pursuing my Private Pilot's License!

I am currently in training and should be complete within a year or so!

I am definitely the life of the party, the witty friend, and the one that constantly tries to make you laugh. 

Fun Fact: I saw Beauty and the Beast on Broadway in London and I've been obsessed with Lumiare ever since. I definitely channeled the character in this image..
