The first fall-feeling engagement session of 2022 is finally here and we kicked it off at Green Mountain Nature Trail! Bethany and Alex will be tying the know next year at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens and I can’t wait to spend their special day with them!

These two are into hiking so they wanted a woodsy, adventurous vibe to their engagement session. Bethany requested Green Mountain and of course I was ecstatic! I had never shot here before but as you probably know, I’m always up for an adventure!

We started with a few photos by the water to get them warmed up before we made our way to the covered bridge. I feel like the bridge is so iconic to the Green Mountain Nature Trail! I mean, how many of these do you see now a days??

We had to wait for a few minutes for people to walk through, so we even got a few shots in the woods!

When I start a session, I always ask if the couple is comfortable with kissing during the session. I specifically remember Bethany replying “Well YES I will kiss this man anytime!!”. Their love is so stinkin’ sweet!

After the covered bridge, we came back to the beginning of the nature trail for some shots by the water on this dock. The time of day and light was perfect! The sun had just started to go down behind the trees which gave it that perfect sunset feeling without any glare off the water.

After we were done with this portion of their engagement session at Green Mountain Nature Trail, we headed to Downtown Huntsville for some city style photos! I always love adding different locations to sessions to add variety!

We had ran out of light, but Bethany had requested to have some photos done at Beezr where they originally met. I just knew I had to make this happen for her, it’s so sentimental! And as if it couldn’t get any more perfect, this is where we ended the session. How sweet!
