This Charming Sailboat Engagement session for Sagen and Brandon still has me swooning! An engagement session on a sailboat had been on my bucket list for a while. When I mentioned the idea to Sagen and Brandon, they were immediately all in!

Sagen and I have been friends since high school. While she went to a different school, we bonded over both entering the medical field straight out of school. Fast forward to today, I’m a paramedic and she’s an RN! When Brandon entered her life, I could just tell she was genuinely happy. The moment I met him I knew their future together was going to be amazing.

Finding a sailboat owner that’s willing to take you out on the water and let you do a photoshoot sounds easy. However, it was harden than you would think. Luckily, MoonLight Sailing in Guntersville, Alabama saved the day! They offer sailboat rides during the morning, afternoon, and early night hours. Greg, the owner was so accommodating and did everything he could to help bring my sailboat engagement session vision to life!

When we disembarked, the wind was whipping and the storm clouds were moving in, but that didn’t stop us! If you ask me, it added to the dreaminess! Sagen and Brandon were absolute troopers and were KILLING these shots all while balancing on a rocking sailboat. It’s almost as if they knew exactly what vision I had in my head and did exactly that.

Thank you two for trusting me with such a special time in your lives! It’s so creatively freeing when clients trust me with something I’ve never done before. I can’t wait to spend wedding day with you two at Blackberry Ridge in February 2024!
